Diagnostics
If you’re not sure what type of dental problem you have, don’t worry, we have advanced digital x-rays, high-resolution intraoral photography, and many other innovative ways to diagnose the reason for your discomfort. We will do our absolute best to find the underlying problem and offer a personalized solution as quickly and comfortably as possible.
We are available 24/7 for any patient with a dental emergency, whether it’s due to trauma, infection or severe discomfort. For broken or loose teeth, we can provide a repair or splint. We’re happy to answer any questions over the phone in an emergency situation and can help begin managing the problem until it can be evaluated in the office.
Prevention is the most important aspect of dentistry. We aim to educate and motivate our patients to minimize their need for dental treatment. At every recall appointment we will clean your teeth and perform a checkup and oral cancer screening. Fluoride, sealants or nutritional counseling may be appropriate for some patients.
This includes fillings, inlays/onlays, crowns and bridges. All of these restorations can be tooth colored and metal free with the use of composite and porcelain materials, providing a natural appearance and durable strength. These options are designed to restore your smile while maintaining comfort and functionality for years to come.
There are many procedures to help improve the appearance of a smile including veneers, tooth-colored restorations, whitening, and gingival contouring. We offer in-office whitening that can achieve great results. This appointment takes only one hour, and you will leave with a brighter, whiter smile.
Crowded teeth, spacing, and malocclusion (deep bite, open bite, cross bite) can cause gum disease, recession, TMJ problems, and enamel chipping/wear. Often, this can be corrected with clear aligners – a clear alternative to braces. It improves your teeth and gum health and creates a beautiful, straight smile!
Sometimes extraction is indicated. We do our best to make sure our patients are as comfortable as possible throughout the entire process. We offer Nitrous Oxide sedation to help with relaxation during the procedure for those who would like it, ensuring a calm and stress-free experience.
We can make many different types of dentures: complete dentures, partial dentures, temporary dentures, and implant-supported dentures. We also offer immediate dentures, repairs, and custom fittings to ensure comfort, functionality, durability, a natural appearance, and long-lasting satisfaction.
The American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry recommends you schedule a dental checkup for your child soon after the first tooth erupts and no later than the first birthday. Baby teeth can get cavities and infections too, so it is important to take care of them and treat any cavities that may develop. Dr. Grasso and Dr. Corapi are gentle and caring and will make your child's visit comfortable and fun.
Gum disease can progress when not treated which can lead to swollen bleeding gums, pain, infection, and loss of bone around the teeth. In severe cases, teeth can shift, become loose, fall out, and cause severe discomfort or difficulty chewing. We offer specialized treatment for patients with periodontal disease and closely monitor each patient to aid in improvement and to maintain optimal gingival health.
When the nerve of a tooth becomes inflamed or irritated, or the nerve dies and an infection develops, root canal treatment is indicated. A “root canal” or endodontic treatment is when the space inside the tooth that is occupied by the nerve and blood vessels is cleaned, shaped and filled in with a filling material. In most cases, after root canal therapy is complete, a crown and possibly a post should be made for the tooth.
Dental implants are a great way to replace missing teeth. A titanium implant is placed into the bone where the tooth is missing. After healing, a crown is made and placed on the implant. Implants are excellent because they have high success rates, can’t get cavities, and allow easy flossing to maintain hygiene. For multiple missing teeth, implant bridges or dentures that snap onto implants can be made.
